A new found friend

Today I tried something that I had never tried before – Hatha Yoga. I felt a bit apprehensive before I went to the gym as I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m not the most flexible person in the world and my balance is far from good so I new I was in for a challenge. What I didn’t know was how much fun it would be. The 90 minutes just flew by, it felt more like 30 minutes tops. It was so nice and relaxing but still some quite challenging moves. I didn’t make a complete fool out of myself but there’s a lot of improvement to make.

I wouldn’t exchange my other workouts for this kind of yoga but I think it will be an excellent complement. It will most definitely help me get a better posture and it gives me a whole body stretch that I’m sure will help to prevent injuries.

This might be a regular Friday thing for me.
